My love of all things ‘old’ started from a young age, I was always fascinated with the things in my parents attic, My first car was a 1976 VW Beetle (1976 because that’s the year I was born!) and in my late teens I soon developed a fantastic collection of Vintage clothes, fur coats and capes being an all time favourite!
Well 20 odd years later my collection of vintage clothes had to be sold to make room for my son and daughters ever expanding collection of toys (mainly wooden and vintage I must add!) but the moment the lady walked out with her suitcases bulging full of my lovely dresses, handbags and fur coats I shed a tear. |

So…. a new Vintage collection just had to be created, one that was maybe more fitting with my lifestyle. That was when my love for Vintage crockery and Home interiors started, our house is now fully shabby chic’d to the nines! It’s taken some hard negotiating along the way to get my husband to realise honestly this floral patterned fabric will look great against that spotty one, but I’m happy to say that over the years he’s learnt to trust my judgement.
Why am I telling you all this? Well, My father always told me to follow my dreams, so that’s what I’m doing here, running my own business to share with the world my passion for all things old and vintage, I love making things look pretty and I love baking cupcakes so Apples for Jam Cupcakes was created and to show off my Beautiful collection of Vintage Crockery I created Apples for Jam Vintage Crockery Hire.
The Apples for Jam Kitchen is filled with fun, love and laughter.
We aim to create truly scrumptious cupcakes and bakes for you to enjoy along with expert vintage styling advice and the opportunity to hire our lovely Vintage crockery for your special occasions.
So if like me you are partial to fairy lights, bunting, wicker baskets, fur coats and doilies you might just love my business Apples for Jam.
